Has it really been that long? Diablo first made its apperance in 1996. In celebration to this 'sweet 15', Blizzard has launched a new page on Battle.net promotoing this special day. With new interviews, a timeline, and a look at whats to come, I'd highly recommend checking out the page. One very important note is that we get a sneak peek at some of the cinematics never before seen to public eye! Check it out.

*raises glass in toast*15 years of Diablo, and not a memory wished to be forgotten. May it continue into the finishing of the trilogy, and for years to come.
Now to the video, anyone else have the strong feeling that angle that shows up at 0:02 is in the same room as the angle that shows at 0:05, and that the first angle is the target for the where the mace(staff?) is being pointed? If so, does this point to a battle between angles as predicted by Roland so many years ago in his now deleted lore thread?
Since this is blizzard I must wonder. When they said beta by September did they really mean November?

Good call; this appears to be the case, as in recent months we have learned that there has always been conflict between the Archangels, in particularly Imperius and Tyrael. In fact, I'm just going to make an assumption: Imperius will be a boss in Diablo 3. |

Very cool! I remember getting the original Diablo when it came out. I actually still have an original disk with version 1.0 on it!
It's been a good series so far with pros and cons for each. I look forward to checking out #3 in the future.
