[KASL2] Groups Week 1

Format The format is similar to MLG. Four players are directly seeded into a bracket and the remaining players are fight for higher seeds in the group stages. All players will be in the bracket. Seeded players and the highest ranking group stage player will be placed in winner bracket, all others are in the losers bracket. Example Here. All matches are played on a weekly basis. You must arrange you time and date of the match with your opponent. Weeks for the KASL are done from Monday through Sunday. Schedule Reporting Matches The winner is responsible for reporting the matches. You must message me with the results of the matches and also add the upload the replays to a replay site, like sc2replayed, or one of your choosing to be linked in a thread with match results. What to do if your opponent does not show/can’t contact him (no need to read if your not a dumbass, however you probably are a dumbass so please read this) It amazed me how many people in KASL 1 told me “I didn’t happen to see my opponent when I was online so herp derp I guess you should give me the win, but I was only on bnet once or twice so idk.” The standard method of communication is a personal message on the armory in order to arrange a time to play the match. Not everyone is on bnet 24/7. That way if your opponent does not answer the message you can say “ Hey Dark, my opponent never read his pm so we couldn’t arrange a time to play the match so we never played cause that scrub never answered my pm. Give me a free win cause he can’t read. It is important to pm me even if you didn’t play your games. How am I supposed to just know who tried to play the match and who didn’t. Please tell me. Map Pool There will be five maps each week. Each players veto one for a bo3 match. Note: The groups have been slightly changed because neither Wizard or Jimp confirmed participation. If either of these players do not play their week 1 match they will both be disqualified. Texmix has replaced Firetail as he is on a three week vacation. Quick note dark, you first called EditorNchimp editor, then chimp, then editor again in the example, you should probably change that so no one gets confused. Should be fun to see who wins ^^ |

Well, it's not a list, but the sign-ups page http://sc2armory.com/forums/topic/23180 has everyones ID codes and names. This will suck for me and XxXxX, 2 plats and 2 high masters in our group.

Well I know wiz is high masters (if he played on the same acct and actually played ladder more). And it seems like tex stopped laddering, but I still think he's high master material. On another note, I think dark did it on purpose, cause 1 player in my group might not play due to no confirmation. |
