well, for tanking then i assume you are going heavy armor, which the best would be daedric. albeit, that requires a smithing skill of 80, so you might want to get busy. oh, and it requires daedric hearts, but there are guides to get those...

You can also get enchanting and alchemy to 100 to get the recursive fortify bonuses (fortify alchemy on equipment, then make fortify enchanting potions, then enchant armor to fortify smithing. You can end up getting smithing skill over 600, i think).

That reminds me. If anyone is an alchemist or is interested in becoming one, make sure you complete the red nirnroot mission in Blackreach cave. Collect 30 of them and turn them into a researcher. Once you do that you get an active power (permanent) that gives you 25% chance of duplicating a potion when using alchemy. Best reward ever.

Keep in mind though that the only way to get access into Blackreach cave is via the main storyline mission when you are *Spoiler alert* looking for the elder scroll *Spoiler alert*

That reward annoyed the **** out of me since I've only done it on a non-alch acc. Spent an hour collecting the friggen things only to get a measly alch bonus. No new potion, no money, no nothing.

Also, I discovered that just recharging magic weapons increases you enchanting, so I got the reusable soulgem from Azura's quest and have been sneaking around soul-trapping guards and instantly recharging to level it.

In addition to this, I buy all the empty soul gems I can, soul trap everything besides humanoids, and then enchant any random gear I may have. I always make a profit too, because empty enchanted gears sells for more than empty soul gems. Just hit 100 today.

Yeh. I did the same thing as Roland to level my enchanting.

Dunno if I mentioned this in the thread but...

If you can obtain the "Banish" enchantment, money will cease to be a problem. It is probably the most profitable weapon enchantment there is and value does not differ drastically if you use petty souls instead of greater/grand souls.

You can literally clear a draugr-filled dungeon, collect all the shitty ancient nord swords they drop, enchant them with the banish enchantment and sell for 1.5k to 2k gold total. I used to make glass greatswords, enchant them with banish and sell for like 2k gold each with good speech skill and speech perk.

So yeh, can also make a lot of money while enchanting. It's probably smart to lvl enchanting and smithing simultaneously as the two complement each other nicely.

Ive got lvl 100 alchemy and like lvl 85 speech. With 130k gold and an inventory full of high value low weight items, I have no reason to pick up anything that I dont wear anymore lol.

All of the rings and amulets are worth picking up cuz they are really low weight and can be enchanted which is something i need to level up.

But cmon... Skyrim needs more gold sinks. Ive got to the point where I just buy and sell the same items (and lose money because of it) just to level up speech.

All I can spend money on is training, buying the occasional house, and random enchanted items that look good to buy. T_T

There is a Mansion in solitude that costs 25,000 to purchase (+ another 10,000ish for house perks/upgrades). This mansion has an enchanting room, alchemy room, a thane/servant, and a safe (store money/expensive stuff). I'd highly recommend it.

just picked up the ebony mail, which is my best armor so far. has better armor rating then normal ebony armor, lets you walk more quietly, AND poisons nearby enemies for you. The level 70 heavy armor perk that lets you act as if you don't have your heavy armor (you walk normally, and the armor weighs nothing) will be perfect for daedric armor.

I really don't care what anyone says I still find these jokes hilarious. Keep playing Starcraft 2 though, unless that arrow to the knee also somehow made you retarded.

so except for the companions (cursed glitch), I have pretty much completed the main story lines... i exploited the glitch for the oghma infinium, so after I get my armor as high as possible and double enchantment... I really don't think their is much else... but I am thinking about starting another person, someone more focused, possibly an assassin. what do y'all think?
