will probably buy it ASAP after I get my job in UPS (or in other stores with my friend) and work up the cash to get it.
![]() what I hope is they'll have perks and skills that will be directed in what I am naturally:A badass tanking machine that is a stone-cold killer with a two-handed war Axe or one-handed with a shield. ^_^ oh! and can go berserk or have some nice knockback effects. hope it gets gory when I start cleaving peoples arms off or heads.probably will focus alot in healing powers, or crippling things on my enemies what about you Green? what's gonna be your 'specialty'? |

Same thing for me, though being in college and sticking with my priorities in my case. ![]() I plan to get this but not play it till Christmas day. Once I start playing, I'm going to be a warrior; real men play with swords, shields, and don heavy armor.

I knew I wasn't the only one. Smart choice man Best of luck with your assignments and go kick those dragons ass. However in my case to rub salt into the wounds my close friend at school has it and is playing it 24/7. He's been telling me about all the awesome cave adventures as well as when he's been accidentally taking on the giants. It sounds so good. I cant wait to play this game! Also steam has been hacked apparently. Just read it from a link in a TL post. Uh oh Lucky I only have one game and no details I really care about being stolen (No credit cards etc.) since I dont buy steam games. I only have the account form FNV and that hardly got any use. I love there prices but couldnt really care about it anyway. |

Bought it at midnight, it is now 8 A.M. Just finished my first session.
It's amazing, seriously. The most detailed world I've ever played in, and pretty much all I play these days are RPGs. I can't get over the first side-quest I did, which I have a hunch was part of the new dynamic quest system. I got sent off to collect a bounty on a group of bandits. It was the perfect level of challenging where I died a couple times, reset, and tried something new untill I killed them all. (Melee sneak attack, into dual wielding lighting and fire spells, followed up with sword-and-shield beatdown on the survivor/mini-boss.) I spent about half and hour exploring a 30 Square foot area. They were based out of an abandoned mineshaft. They kept mining the ore and had a small forge to make their own gear. Furthermore, I had been seeing mammoth meat and big blood stains in the area, and when I finally got into the final room I found them mid-way through butchering a mammoth. There was a back exit which led to a small pit filled with mammoth tusks as some kind of a pit-trap, apparently for elk as there was on in there, as well as one unlucky High Elf (23 gold!) That means someone at Bethesda sat down and took the time to imagine that bandits wouldn't be able to use city forges, or markets, so they would need to be self-sufficient. That means access to weapons for raiding and food. What better place to get both than an iron mine on the tundra? Then that person went ahead and built it in-game detailed to the level of deciding what would be done with mammoth tusks. I've only been in about four dungeons so far, but all have been equally detailed with their own story, and no apparent repeats or cloning. I was skeptical of the class change at first with the removal of most core stats from Oblivion, but having used it, there is actually more character depth than in previous games thanks to stat/perk/skill combos. I'm playing a mixed class. My typical strategy is using a bow to sneak attack, then blasting everything with AOE magic to soften it up, and finishing it off with the scimitar I liberated from some wandering Redguards. Dark Elves are way more distinct and cool looking than they were in Oblivion, plus they seem pretty balanced, so I went with that. My only choice now is to rush into the part of the story where dragons start hunting me, or wait till I'm already every guildmaster and have half the world following me. |
