Diablo 3 Armory - Unofficial Diablo 3 Fansite

Ive been checking updates for the past few weeks in regards to what acts will be featured in diablo 3 and i have no clue. Im assuming blizzard hasnt released that information yet so would anyone care to speculate what the acts might be?

I don't think they've said, but the general consensus is 4.

Four acts with the first one being Tristram, and one other(second perhaps) being a desert act(we have screen shots and video of it). The desert will most likely be the borderlands around Caldeum

As for the other two acts I am guessing at least one would take you to the creator made by the worldstone(I think Stebo said something on this, not sure). I have no idea on the last act yet.

Also as for the final act bosses I think we are going to see the other two lesser evils. Belial, the Lord of Lies, and Azmodan(lord of lust?). Hell is split between these two and it seems likely they play some part(Azmodan is also the master of fallen which are to be in the game). Lithe might also be in the game, but she could be in the expansion as well(or expansions from what i heard). Also we know Diablo will be the final boss in the game.

It is officially four, you can see on the community page under game then world.

People are speculating that the fourth act may have something to do with Heaven. When F&F Beta was released, data was leaked and spilled onto the web with information regarding game mechnics, such as titles of the environments, waypoints, etc. In the fourth act, a lot of the titles of locations had 'angelic' names. I don't know where the link is though.

I think I've read somewhere (d3wiki) that there would be 4 acts with 6,5,4,3 checkpoints (not waypoints, but rather the checkpoints - the ones that say your game has been saved or something) respectively..

Offcource - that doesn't mean that the checkpoints have the same amount of progress - I suspect that the ones in the final act would be the longest to play - kinda like in D2 in act4 were longer than the other..

About the bosses - I think that there would be 3 (the Skeleton King, then I suspect the Assault Beast to be the second boss in act1 - the one that there were the first Boss fight VODs of, and the Mistress of pain as the final act1 boss), 2 in acts 2 and 3 and not sure how many (I guess 2) in the final act..

Soo yah - I think it's gonna be awesome as Blizzard has brought us the real excitement in boss fights w/o the instant town portal this time.. Ofcource - it might go on some nerves as well..

Ive been looking around on diablofans and ive been reading speculations about an expansion pack having TWO additional acts. that would be pretty cool....
