Ok, so all of us are trying to get involved in freeing Mariks character, but due to the PMs everything has been getting confusing. This thread is to help sort it out.

Now no matter what I feel like my character has to go after Aria in New Flosom, but after that it is up to debate.

My origonal idea was that my character, Sajuuk, would end up running into Marik's levitathan outside the Nebula. Sajuuk would discover that he can comunicate pisonically with the leviathan, and that it is not hostile. He would come to the relization that it belonged to Aria, the person he made contact with during those five seconds. And he would figure out that he has pisonic power, and is in need of a teacher.

In order to delay Maga from taking off his head, Marik's leviathan would surrender the artifact it has to Sajuuk, who would give it to Maga. Maga would then send Sajuuk and the Levithan to break out Aria. During this time I was thinking Sajuuk would try to recruit Chaos Lord's Alex, to increase odds.

However, it seems that you, Lunaraia, also want Maga to participate in the raid. Is this correct?
Please tell me what you guys planned, and lets work this out.

Had originally planned that, yes, afterall he needs to be viewed as the one who is "Large and in Charge" so ther is no doubt who Aria should be thanking whatever she prays to for her freedom and release from torment.

Also Aduck, there are also the issue with your... err... leak, sooner or later that video are gonna catch the attention of Khalana, who scours the Terran communication lines for mercs reguarly, youd be advised to have Sajuuk discover the one who caused the leak and deal with it, or Maga will most likely turn hostile on the flip of a dime, and seing as your already in hot water with him, his rather, "colorful" personality, it should be pretty easy to guess his reaction pattern, just thought I'd give you a heads up.


Marik, will be posting about heading out as soon as we finish up the other details that are up to you in this, speaking of which, just how many posts is it to New Folsom from... where are we again? it's been so many posts since we set out ive forgotten the destination...

Here is my idea to contribute to the breakout:

I was thinking that a new guard transfers in to New Folsom and sees what they are doing to Aria. He is one of the marines she saved the day she was captured by the Zerg and became an infested Terran. He then helps her escape by turning off all of the security systems. This allows Aria to break out of her cell, and start transmitting her location psionically (Due to the psionic dampeners no longer functioning. Coincidentally, at the same time, Aduck's (and whoever else) forces arrive and break her out in the confusion.

That is just an idea though.

I definatly need a way to placate Maga, and I was thinking the artifact that Marik's brood has would be a good way to give me more time to find a true way way to statisfy Maga.

I was thinking that at the same time, Maga would also demand that I submit one of my men to be killed by him, and that is how I get rid of Goben. My men find out earlier that he put the video up, and this is a great way to kill him. The video goes down as well.

As for the other people jumping on board: I had nothing to do with Bathus. I suspect he will end up there just to create chaos, and try to snatch Aria away. He could be our real threat. We could encorporate Mariks idea of how to break Aria, and have little resistance getting in. Getting out would be where the problem is, with Bathus and whoever he brings along showing up. It would make for an interesting sequecne.

As for Chaos lord, I figured he would be useful. His character would jump at the idea of hurting the dominion, however, this is your guys show as well. If you don't want him along, just say the word.

However, no matter what I don't think we will be able to keep Bathus away, unless Gateway gets involved, and with so many of our members involved, it kind of seems like a good idea to me to throw one more person into the mix, just to make it more interesting.

To sum it up, I think I should renduvous with Aria's brood very soon, so I can stall Maga.

So, I don't really care too much if you bring in Chaos to help us. Alls I know is that if bathus tries to snatch my character, she will play hardball. And by that, I mean she will litteraly rip him apart if need be, no matter how wounded I am pretty sure I could take him out of the equation alone, and with one of you helping me, it should be a cake walk.

Now: about the dominion hunting us. If we play this right, I think we could make our insider the head of security. He IS a decorated veteran that was wounded, so being a head guard makes sense. This way, he should be able to turn off ALL monitoring devices. I would like to see the dominion hunt us when they have no visual recordings of what our ships look like.

Finally, we need to figure who is going to post what when. Do you guys want me to post something to set this up or what? I was thinking I could have my brood be located at a staging point close to New Folsom. They would have been thinking of suicide attacking to try to free Aria, but then you guys could coincidentally arrive and convince them to join in on your plan. That way, we would have all three factions helping out. Plus, The dominion should be somewhat tied up dealing with bathus. And if he tries to get Aria... Well, I think I already said my intentions.

While your head of security idea is good, I don't think your brood would be in position for a suicide run, and here is why.

I would guess that when Aria was captured, the cerabrate began to recall her leviathan back to the planet he was on. Along the way, the leviathan was intercepted by Gateway's Raknorock and severally wound, though not quite dead. Shortly after this, Gorgen kills the cerabrate.

So right after that sequence of events your brood is severally wounded and leaderless. It would make sense for the leviathan to try to reconnect with Aria, but until she breached the walls of the prison, the Leviathan would have no idea where to go.

What I would do is have the head guard lower the field blocking Aria's psionics slightly, allowing her to communicate with the leviathan. Upon making contact with your leviathan, send it to reduvous with my character, the only one to establish a real connection with Aria. And that would be how your brood ends up helping us.

While that would normally be true, you forgot that I already managed to weaken the psionic dampener restraining Aria's abilities. Operating on that assumption, I would assume my brood would be able to her her screams and go to rescue her even if it meant their deaths. Either way works with me, I was just trying to character develop Zargoth (Ship) and the rest of her brood a little. Just tell me which you want and I can write up a post sometime. (may take awhile, I will be pretty tired tomorrow).

I would prefer it if your brood contacted Sajuuk, rather than preparing to launch a suicide attack. I would like Lunaraia's opinion on that.

As for including Chaos lord, the general opinion seems to be that it would be fine, although I would like conformation on that as well.

As for dealing with Bathus...that might take some work.

Anyway: Since Aria are the sole surviveing Self Aware unit in that entire brood, apart from Zargoth, that would make her its leader, as of such she would have a total say so in what Zargoth does, depending on what you work out that could mean a lot of things.

If you can't agree on what should happen you can always have Magas scanners pick up the artefacts signature and home in on it as a viable way of encountering the Leviathan, where upon it offers the artifacts to Sajuuk sicne he actually answered Aria, in difference from Maga who didn't bother to reply, despite hearing the scream.

Then Sajuuk has his "Bribe" to save his life and we have a reason for meeting up. After that the 3 of us goes to new folsom, and again how many posts to Folsom from our current position?

I kind of like that. However, I need to stop of at Dead Man's Port along the way to improve my army. So it may be a little while before I reach there. Since I am heading there anyways, I might be able to write a post in which Choas Lord is added. Will see about that, but no matter what I am going to Dead Man's Port.

Magas demands (in this case I mean what you think would be acceptable for your character to go through, given Magas personality as a rather cruel employer, and even crueler loan shark/dept collector) from it and Aria about dept repayment, he'll want her to to Aiur to pick up another artefact, as the artefacts he now posess are just a part of a whole, with the next one being there, understandably neither Protoss nor Terrans would last long there.

Mind of Sparky overhears the talk about mutiny and hints at the posbiliity to Sajuuk, he IS rather nosy after all, and likes to use the air ducts to move around.
