Did the army calc work?

EDIT: Also, we're actually allowing you to spend your initial 300(+25) points as you please. You no longer have a limit of 100 per category (flagship, tech, character, supply) and there is no minimum amount of points to spend on each category. You can therefore have a flagship oriented army or an army that consists of nothing more than a flagship, 3 to 4 heroes and minimal tech.

So if you're interested in this kind of spending, you can reconsider your point spending.

Ok, I got the basics for my character.

Race: Terran
Affiliation: Bonecrusher's pirates
Name: Sajuuk Bentus, Viking Pilot, Leader of the Vagyar Raiders, a pirate group
Background: As a young lad Sajuuk grew up in a back-water fringe world. Said world was hit by a pirate raid. However, unlike most of his people, Sajuuk willing let himself be captured, saying he wanted to join the crew.
This was allowed, mainly because Sajuuk beat up a thug who claimed "this spinely kid has no ablity to fight or be a pirate." Sajuuk began his carrer in the pirate world under the eye of Captain Rommel. Eventually Sajuuk proved his worth in quick strike tactics, and by 23 he had his own crew and ship. The next five years was spent welding his crew together. He raided and plundered for Bonecrusher, and was fiercly loyal to both Bonecrusher and Rommel.
Five years later Rommel went out on a raid, and his ship didn't come back. Since then, when Sajuuk isn't raiding for Bonecrusher or doing a merc contract, he is looking for clues to what happened to Rommel to avenge the pirate.
While being very loyal to Bonecrusher, he isn't high up in the pirate higharchey, due to his mouth. He isn't afraid to point out when he thinks others are wrong, including Bonecrusher. Sometimes it is only the fact that Bonecrusher knows he is loyal that keeps Sajuuk alive. His crew is also very loyal to him, and as long as they obey his orders he is loyal to him. Most of the officers in his crew are from all the way back to his first command, are on good terms with him.

That would be because you have to download the .jar file to use it.

Srry for taking so long. Skyrim devoured my life. How dare I get away from Skyrim to approve your character? I'm in bed and the laptop I have right now can't even run the first Red Alert.
Your point totals for the flagship and character are wrong, but your overall totals are actually correct (318 points). Seeing as there are no custom abilities, units, or anything else that our excell sheet doesnt cover: Approved

For the backstory, here's a bit of info on the Bonecrusher pirates that might be useful to know: Damn Bonecrusher (Doom's father) led the pirate "empire" (Or whatever I'll call it) before Doom. He died a while ago (about a few years ago. Still have to decide on an exact time) and it collapsed. Doom had been "exiled" from his father's crew a few years before that and stayed out of piracy (But no crime) till then. Shortly after Damn Bonecrusher's death, Doom shows up again in a powerful flagship with eight protoss Templar and puts the pirate empire together again, and somehow manages to get a deal with the new Terran Coalition. It's no secret that "Darth Waiter", the leader of those templar, is a frighteningly powerful telepath that makes sure everyone has their loyalties in the right place.

Also, the Bonecrusher pirates aren't the only pirates out there. The majority are loyal to Doom, but a good amount are still free lance, and some are even paid by the Outsiders to work for them.

@Squiggly
O.D.S.T.
Im assuming these marines are paid for in some way (12 marines have to be in your flagships cargo and you have to have the minerals).
They can only be called down to Whitecomb, and not just anywhere you have vision.

Overcharge:
2 minutes? I don't want to be rude, but that's just ridiculous. Even 10 seconds of this would be equal to 300 additional damage (Im going by the assumption that you have an attack speed of 1), for only 50 energy. I'm sorry, but I'm not letting it go past 5 seconds, which is equal to bonus 150 damage. Cooldown of 20 seconds, 50 energy seems reasonable. Too good even if you consider that two snipes cost the same and deal less damage, but then again this is a hero unit...
So, in short, my proposal:
+30 damage for 5 seconds, 50 energy, 20 second cooldown

The other two abilities: Fine with them. A bit unsure about Commanding Presence, but seeing as I suggested it, I won't change my mind now.

Last problem(s) are regarding your cargo:
1a.) Youve got 2 as your cargo stat, but want to buy 300 supply. 1 cargo = 100 supply capacity. Either increase your cargo or decrease your supply. Using all 300 points you have, you could up your cargo to 3 and buy 270 supply

1b.) You havent defined your cargo. Look at the last part in Aducks post - it lists the exact unit numbers he has. You need to do the same, and are limited to using only those units until you buy new ones. Every time you lose a unit, it's gone - permanently. You'll have to return to planets owned by major factions to restock on units.

Omens of Doom is now finished and the character creation thread for the new RPG, entitled Embers of Peace, is now up. My appologies for the delay, but between Skyrim and a beta which may not be named we have had a very unproductive week. We would like to begin the new game as soon as we have three or four approved characters. Until then, please post any further discussion in the new thread.
