I bought a psp and god of war: ghost of sparta. Now I find out I need a memory stick. So disappointed. Now I'm going to spend loads on games and memory sticks and crap. And then I'm gonna spend even more on NGP. Just my luck. Too long have I not felt the greed of game developers.

Mem sticks aint that expensive u can get 1 Gb pretty cheaply and that will last you for a loooong time unless u start to install the games itself for faster load times.

Just found out I don't need to save as long as I don't leave the game. Turning off the power is just fine.

personally, It depends what games you are looking for, for example

the 3ds has an extended version of ocarina of time, apparently 3 time longer, thats something id be interested in, and it has all the old gameboy games for download, some of which id like to play.

whereas the psp has monster hunter freedom unite and monster hunter portable third, both of which I want

It really is just a matter of researching what games on each system you would buy.

personally, id go for the psp, due to the fact it is cheaper and has monster hunter games, aside from sc2 monster hunter is what I have spent the most time in, but I haven't finished monster hunter tri so I really don't need to get a psp yet.

which is basically what I do when im interested in a new console, I find out what games are on it that I would want to play.

or I can just play Starcraft some moar

The 3DS has the entire back catalog of the DS, which is far superior to the PSP on any day, especially since the OP specifically said they needed an upgrade to their DS phat. Much better off getting the new console that will be getting new games, and if you really can't find a single thing to do with the launch titles, just buy any of the fantastic DS games still on the market.

You need a psp charger that can give you desired service.
