3DS vs. PSP

I'm planning to buy either a 3DS or a PSP in the coming month.
I'm of two minds right now-I could either get the PSP which is a lot cheaper, with a better software library, or I could get the 3DS, which while neat, and 3D whithout glasses, is more expensive and does not come with a bundled game like God of War and Metal Gear Solid. If anybody has already bought a 3DS, could you kindly post your impressions and how it compares to the PSP. No, I'm not waiting a whole year to get the NGP. |

I don't own either, but I've played on a 3DS and it's nothing extraordinary, not worth the $250, in my opinion. The 3D is more of a hindrance than anything to me, I played better after turning it off than with it on. That being said developers could always surprise us by finding some creative way to use the 3D, but I don't see that happening.
Also, PSP does seem to have a better line up of games, so I would lean towards that. |

I want so many things, yet I have so little money. Time to find another job. I think I'll get the PSP then. God of War and Metal Gear Solid look awesome. |

PSP is better in my opinion u get better games too, just stay away from the PSP Ports, they are usually cheap rip offs that are clunky to play and not really that interesting, branch games like the 2 PSP GoW games however are usually well done sicne they aren't ports but made for the system to begin with they are easier to handle

Not to mention the PSP has a more...quick fingered database if you know what I mean.

Psp definantly, Only kids below the age of 12 and pedophiles play 3ds.
On a side note i will actually like to commend all the gaming companies on there advances. First off microsoft with there new motion system for the xbox called xbox kinect. Secondly Sony for there new HD gaming system for the ps3 along with there new sharpshooter gun controller making first person shooter games feel far more realistic. And third off to nitendo, after years of research and hard work they managed to create... a red wii -__- |

My 32 year old cousin who is married is a pedophile. So are practically half my friends. My aunt too. Plus everybody who works at Nintendo. That, or they have some secret lotion to make themselves look 2 decades older. |

Actually, I would say it's quite the opposite. |

I bought a psp and god of war: ghost of sparta. Now I find out I need a memory stick. So disappointed. Now I'm going to spend loads on games and memory sticks and crap. And then I'm gonna spend even more on NGP. Just my luck. Too long have I not felt the greed of game developers.

When the NGP comes out, it'll be about the price of 2 3DSs apparently, but it has not been announced yet.
However, the NGP sounds very neat and well worth its price. |

Yep, PSP is better, in my opinion. Also more games = more fun.

Depends on the games and what you are interested in. I would rather have a system with a few good games then one with a lot of bad ones. I have a strong interest in several of the Nintendo games so I would prefer the 3DS. |
