Diablo 3 Armory - Unofficial Diablo 3 Fansite

This idea was brought to me by a fellow staff member and I loved it. Instead of having multiple forums for basically the same thing (example race forums: terran, zerg, protoss), we would have a single forum but have a tagging system that separates each topic. These tags can be applied to any topic to differentiate it.

When a tag is applied, the tag will appear in front of the topic title within brackets, example: [Feature]. Each forum has it's own set of tags that can be used; you can see the list of tags at the bottom of the category page. Additionally you can now see moderators for forums at the bottom as well.

Because of this new feature, the races and campaign forums have been merged and migrated.

A good example of the tag system can be found within the Armory forum. If you have any idea for tags, please post them here!

lol. Oh well. but it will be awesome soon as the bugs fixed. it looks cool. maybe add colors depending on the races? blue toss, green terran and purple or red zerg?

Um what error do you get? Ive had no problems with it.

That doesn't make sense as this topic has a tag also.

Edit: Fixed, it wasn't because of the tags, its just that forum was in read only state still.

I was wondering about the tags I saw. Interesting new feature, we will see how this works out.

Roland is listed under lore and storyline and Tehichigo is listed under fanfiction and articles. I know they both used to be staff here, but I thought they are now both "retired."

What? you did not know that all staff sign a pact of allegiance to Gear, and the Armory in blood thus binding them here forever(you guys should have read the fine print).

On a different note when I looked at the tags in the fan-fic section I noticed that some fics can be described by more than one of the tags. How would this be dealt with, multiple tags? Or would it just not have a tag?

@Omega - Single tag, which ever applies the most. Or no tags.

I like it, keeps everything steamlined and in order.

I laughed at the fanfic forum mods. And their last logins which were 1 month ago and back in March. I'd suggest Uberlisk or some other veteran fan fic writer as a mod there (Dark Prelate and silent_templar come to mind).

Not that the fanfic forum really needs a lot of modding ^^.

Also, suggestions for fanfic tags: Sci-fi, Fantasy, sequel, comedy, adventure, mystery.

Overall, it's a nice feature even though it's gonna take some getting used to. I'm liking the sudden influx of new features. Speaking of which, how close is version 4 (least i think it's 4)?

Adding 'Review' tag? to include the blizzcon 2010 stuff and any hardware reviews
