IC: On the surface of the planet, the temperature was dropping rapidly and the battle heated up. Snow began to fall, as agile HAACs outmanuevered their enemies. No matter how fast they were, some pilots, though, met a fiery fate and their aircraft erupted into flames. A siren blared inside the ****pit of Viper Leader's craft, looking down he noticed that the temperature was -173 degrees.

Outside, the winds shifted and the temperature drifted even lower, snow began to fall furiously and HAAC pilots switched to thermal imaging to see through the blinding snow. Lasers and missiles were flung through the air at the Zerg, now panicking with the change of habitat. Zerglings were being buried beneath feet of snow as they hid from the aircraft and the Dark Swarms began to fade away.

From above, more and more War Frigates descended from the upper atmosphere and pounded the surface with their weaponry. Several HAACs moved in to protect the Frigates as they were being attacked by Mutalisks and Corrupters.

"Prepare the land forces, our aircraft needs support." A captain ordered.

"Afffffirmative, captain." A warrior hissed from his station.

In high orbit, the Emperor's main War Frigate loomed over the planet. The aging Emperor leaned forward with a metallic groan, parts rubbing against one another. He sighed heavily and sat back with a grunt. Grabbing a cloth, the Emperor began to cough violently. Pulling it away after a few seconds, blood covered the piece of fabric.

"Emperor, three things have been brought to our attention. Reinforcements have arrived from Thebathen, which are on schedule and should be in place within a few diatons. Secondly, an unidentified fleet has taken up positions behind us, I believe that they are of no threat." An bridge officer stated.

"Why is that?" The Emperor asked, his voice cold and hard as steel.

"Because they are hailing us, my liege." The officer returned.

"Open the channel!"

IC:The huge amounts of snow suddenly obscured the vision of the various minions on the surface of Ralshalga.Snow began to suddenly pile up and bury various Minions.The rest however where being slaughtered by the Mycenaean forces.That soon changed as numerous newly morphed Ravengers arrived accompanied by a flock of Overseers which wasted no time in pounding the Mycenaean forces from a far. Lurkers and mutalisks where morphed into Amorgalisks as several queens ensared squadrons of aircraft under attack from the Ravengers which the defilers immediately plauged. The process was repeated until a large portion of the air units where decimated and corrupted. Zerglings and Ultralisks unburrowed to meet the arriving ground threat coming in droves inside transport vessels.Soon however the battle turned to the Mycenean's favor as there ground troops arrived and did damage of there own. The various Zerg breeds then retreated to the nearest fortified hive cluster to rally there offensive push.

The figure enshrouded in darkness coughed for what nearly seemed like an hour before talking in it's wheezing rasping voice.

"Yes I know of your Empire,However know that we seek not to make war with you"

"Then why are you assaulting the Charybdis brood?"

"They dare take what is rightfully ours." The voice said,distracted "Yes...No one shall take what rightfully belongs to us.." Another pause. "No one..."

"And what are your intentions after you have claimed what is rightfully yours?"

Silence.

"Great we're dealing with a delusional group of fanatics..." Crosby muttered to himself.

The figure suddenly rose from it's chair and for the first time Crosby could see the reptilian face of the figure before him which was as menacing as a protoss.

"Do you have a purpose Commander?"

Crosby was surprised by this comment.

"I beg your pardon?"

"A purpose to be here Commander,Otherwise your presence distracts my warriors..."

"We have been sent by the Emperor to lay seige to the Charybdis brood within the sector."

"So it seems...." The metalic voice drawled.. "So it seems...."

Crosby however seeing an opportunity spoke up...

"We will aid you in your assault,As such high command would like to offer a standing military alliance with the..?"

"Mycenaean Empire"

"Dully noted. Helmsman set a course for the darkened side of the planet. We have Zerg to kill."

"I'm not entirely sure. . . I've never heard of these . . . Mycenaeans before." replied Avarii

"you're orders Templar?" said the Captain.

"Keep our course. Tell commander Al'daer to break off and warp to Ralshalga. I want him to deploy Scouts and corsairs and access the situation." Avarii said.

"Pending now, Templar. . ."

IC:

"Admiral spore colonies in range...."

"Fire Yamato cannons!"

Theta squadron's Battlecruisers unleashed a powerful salvo of Yamato cannon fire which tore open a hole large enough for a wing of dropships to deposit there load onto the cliff side. Siege tanks transformed into powerful artillery cannons which then proceeded to unload a powerful salvo into the Zerg base. Battlefortress battalions landed in the distance and made there way towards the Hivecluster Marines within them blasting everything in the way. The Hive cluster immediately fell within minutes.SCV's begun arriving at the scene to establish base camp amidst the minerals and the vespene rich geysers as more troops arrived to reinforce the base.

Once the base was well established Crosby sent out numerous recon teams to observe enemy troop movement and to locate other possible base locations.

A low rumbling sound could be heard in the distance as artillery fire continued on well into the evening. Stevens couldn't tell whether or not they're UHA Siege tanks or Empire Siege tanks.Hell he didn't think he'll even live to see the sunrise again. Empire marines aren't known to take prisoners. Reloading his gauss rifle Stevens alongside Browning and Sanchez moved through trenches battling numerous Empire marines that made it pass the minefield. Spookies flew overhead in the other direction as Apocalypse cannon fire ripped through another defense grid in the distance. Finally they where given the order to retreat,Stevens did not hesitate as he simply dropped his assault rifle and ran towards the nearest dropship. Empire forces where simply gaining too much ground as UHA forces continued to be slaughtered.

Granted AVFC minor control of Richardson Murdercraft General in charge of the Plutonis Garrison. And permission to land at Plutonis which is under heavy attack from the Empire.

"We have reached contact with them, Master," a huge hulking droid said while bowing to a far larger droid.

"Very good, Sephalon. Patch me through."

"Done," Sephalon reported.

The transmission link opened and displayed various golden archs and gates. "Greetings, executor of the Moirae. I am the Controller, steward of the Xel'darri Expeditionary Guard. I know there are lots of things I need to explain but I believe there are more pressing matters we have to attend to.

"I am aware of your recent, say, losses in the sector. I am also aware of the counter-attack the UHA, and a newly acquired ally, is preparing on Plutonis."

"What are you implying?" The Executor asked haughtily.

"I believe I can offer you some assistance."

The comm link bleeped, it spoloched zerg essence onto the ground.
A infested terran hit a button on the comm link.
"Cerberate Xo'cal, Our forces are moving in from the east onto a undesignated planet. No lifeforms have been detected, but thy be hiding."

The comm link was barely working, splicing in and out of working functionality. a face then appeared, A hydralisk was met onto the screen.
"Youuu foooolssss! sending transmissions on this broookken peice of technologgy is terran worrrk! they could be loooking at ussss right nowww!"

The comm link went out. It had broken down due to no power transmitted. The infested terran made a uglh and smashed down the comm link.

Somewhere in Skagrrak Sector, Planet Lepus

The mutated overlord that was much superior to to other overlords was one of the force leaders. commanding 1/2nd of the force. He flew over his army and spoke.

"The time of remensce has comeee!"
The overlord sent phyonic waves to the force to move to the unknown planet.

OOC:@Silent_templar:You may start at Saturus by conquering the planet.

I would like to remind everyone that are playing force commanders and minor factions that having bases and expansions are necessary to maintain your army size as it is required in Starcraft.

Tip:I would recommend people to immediately land the planet as soon as possible and establish at least 1 base by destroying a remote resource node within the planet your invading.

Also when dealing with fleet blockades you may opt to attempt to rush in your transports past carrying your landing force as your fleet engages the enemy blockade in orbit.

@Judicator Aldaris:Please specify which planet you are on. And pick one from the first page of the creation thread for your home world.

Also travel time is Halfed rounding up for the next 10 posts.

UPDATE

The Obsidian Rangers Guild under the Command of Altair have made contact with the UHA and proposed an alliance. Admiral Meyers agreed but after the Obsidian Rangers Guild proves there worth by successfully repelling the Empire from Plutonis.

Templar Avarii and her forces were hidden on the frozen world of Rashalga observing the conflict before they decided to set a course for Plutonis which is under attack from the Empire.

The Mycenaean Empire have begun there assault of Rashalga a Charybdis controlled world with the aid of General Crosby's Theta Squadron which left Saturus with only it's ground forces defending the world from hostile attacks.

The Xel'darri Expeditionary Guard have made contact with the Moirae tribe requesting an alliance.

OOC: Spamer, I can't find Saturus in the map, only Zeturis in Bosphororus. Also, when will I know if the Moirae accepted my request?

IC: "helmsman, who are those gigantic metallic warships?"

OOC: I believe Lupus is a visible planet on the chart you made. and the planet I am moving to is Pavo. Since it is in the same sector the time is 1 post, but from your saying it is doubled? so the next time I post I shall land on Pavo.

The overlord was speaking to the Cerberate.
"When landing on that moon, establish forces and remember Xolisk.
If you fail, Trillisk will be taking over your duty!" By the cereberate.
That speech was unbearable. Counter parts to each other, Trillisk and Xolisk hate each other. Both commanding 1/2 of the force.


Back at the home planet, Skagrrak Sector, Planet Lepus

Captain Trillisk was there commanding the base.
"We must EZPANDDZ! the home base is to small for visitors!sss If someone were to come, we would be deeeadd right nowwww!!"

He sent out orders to establish 3 more hatchiers and a nydus worm/canal to allow troops to move faster throughout the planet.

OOC: I didn't see "Build" as a action command. but the drones I just moving are building. Can I do that?

OOC: Avery, I know what's done is done, but it isn't possible for the Protoss to already be both on Rashalga, which is in the middle of Empire of Thunder territory, and know what about the Mycenean race when they are not known by everyone yet.

IC: On the planet's surface, the battle raged on. Reinforcements arrived from the new Mycenean Battle Group, HAACs flooded the air and hundreds of legions of Savage Warriors trampled the carcasses of dead Zerg into the deepening, thickening snow. On the other side of the planet, the Terrans took positions and began their assaults against the Zerg. Myceneans laid waste upon the Zerg that tried to attack the group, the HAACs swarmed the skies and War Frigates slowly advanced in the rear.

In orbit, the Mycenean Emperor sat uncomfortably in his seat. Shifting positions, the Emperor beckoned a scribe over. His metallic body creaked and groaned as he leaned to the scribe.

"Yes, my leige?" The scribe asked in respect.

"I want to draw up a contract, between us and this Empire of Thunder. Come, Icargak, I need you to assist." The Emperor wheezed.

A tall biological Mycenean walked up, his fiery red eyes glared down upon the weakening Emperor. "You called, my master?"

"I need your assistance to draw up this contract." The Emperor wheezed. "Let the contract state that this Empire of Thunder will have our military and trading allegiance. Electronic materials, food, and access to some of our army will be allegated to them. Allow our new allies to build one, or two, bases upon our planet. Allow them access to some of our cold and heat resistant metals so that they may construct an effective base on our planet. Next, I want our people to respect this alliance, if there is any overstepping of our hospitality the warrior that does so will be publicly executed. This contract of services should be completed soon!" The Emperor wheezed and hissed.

"When would you like it complete, my leige?" The scribe asked.

"Five minutes ago!" The Emperor growled, then coughed into his bloodstained cloth.

"My Emperor! Do you wish to create loopholes and terms that we may exploit when this alliance no longer serves our benefit?" Icargak suggested in the form of a question.

"NO! We will show our hospitality to our allies, they have shown us mercy and are helping us take back our throneworld. If they helped us take back our fringe worlds, maybe I would agree to such loopholes, but not in this case. Also, place in the contract an agreement to use the Empire of Thunder's ports and trading routes, its time we establish our Trade Federation once more." The Emperor gave a bloody smile, bits of hemorrhaging flesh were caught in the cloth.

"Yes, my leige." Icargak said, pain lingering in his voice.

The scribe left to draw up the contract and Icargak watched as the Emperor suffered from his aging body. Another crewman had noticed and called an Engineer to the bridge. The Engineer walked up to the Emperor and began to look him over.

"Emperor, how long has this been going on?" The Engineer asked.

"Too long!" The Emperor wheezed.

OOC:@Knight Spector:I would suggest you already set up a few bases with the minor resource gathering hive cluster you've conquered before you run out of troops. Bases with tech 1-2 and moderate defense tend to be complete in 1 post.

"This grows tedious..."

On the many main hive clusters on Rashalga the Zerg numbers swelled as numerous new minions emerged from there eggs ready to do Xivoog's bidding. Hundreds of Hydralisks,Trindents,Amorgalisks and various other breeds filled the skies and occupied the ground in an endless seething mass of bodies. The ground began to shake as the Charybdis' brood's zerglings arrived from the Central Hive Cluster. Trillions upon trillions of the savage beasts galloped with mad abandon towards the newly set up Empire base with blood lust within there eyes fully intent with crushing the Terran interlopers before dealing with the new threat on the other side of the planet.

"HOLY MOTHERFUCKING ****!!" the private swore as the seething see of zerglings shook the very ground as they began there stampede towards the primary strong hold of the Empire on the planet.

There where simply millions upon millions of zerglings the carpet simply reached into the distance. In the distance Amorgalisks and Ravengers moved into position covered by numerous Hydralisks,Corruptors,Mutalisks and Devourers backed up by Ultralisks,Defilers and Infestors.

"ADMIRAL!! ZERG TO BREECH THE LINE!!!"

"Eta of contact?"

"They've entered Siege tank range!!! Alpha,Charlie and Echo company are engaging"

"Zerg Ravengers spotted!"

"Fuck i want medics putting up restores even faster than possible"

"Alpha company is down!!"

"Zeta company are moving to shore up defenses"

"Belay that order! Tell them to meet up with Theta company and enforce Charlie and Echo company's position!"

"Cursesstorms' shock fields are ready sir"

"Light them up!!"

At once the fleet's Cursestorms let loose their most potent attack. They steadily moved over the Zerglings thinning there number considerably. However the Zerg where swift to respond as the Amorgalisks opened fire on the Cursestorms while the Corruptors,Mutalisks and Devourers moved into range. Wraiths and Valkyries streamed in and attempted to contain the threat but they too suffered major casualties. The Battlefortress battalions arrived onto the scene to cause there own form of havoc as they sliced through the zerglings with ease. However that wouldn't last long as Ravengers entered the fray able to hit as far as a siege tank and has the firing speed of a Dragoon. Again they began to suffer major casualties but still they pressed on.
Battlecruisers attempted to thin the aerial threat but they where met with heavy resistance.

"Tell a few Apocalypse Battlecruisers to set up shop in the distance.
And wait for my signal to fire"

OOC: @ Spector: actually, Rashalga is in the Lepus system, which has like 6 planets / moons, all that are controlled by the various factions. Same goes for all the other systems in the ****rrak Sector. Rashalga is not in the middle of the thunder empires territory.

If someone rages war on Rashalga, it's only logical that all the nearby factions would no about it and would deploy scouts, which is my force.

IC:

The small division of scouts and corsairs began their low flight through the atmosphere; the Arbiter hovering behind providing cloak for them.

"commander, we're beginning our scout of the area. It will not take long." said the Scout Pilot.

A few moments later a small squad of Scourges appeared out of seemingly nowhere, and collided with the Arbiter, completely obliterating the light craft.

"What the hell was that?"

"Auir Protect us . . ." Said another Protoss Scout.

The small division of scouts and Corsair's lost their invisibility, attracting the attention of the millions of Zerg Already laying siege to the Emperial Thunder's Forces.

The Protoss Scout force was quickly overrun and destroyed by the Zerg.

Commander Al'daer watched helplessly from his flagship in orbit. He turned to his navigator. "If that radar visual is correct, then those Terrans aren't going to stand a chance against that many Zerg."

"What are you proposing, Commander?" said the navigator.

"I don't know . . ." said the Commander, "Those Terran are fools if they think they can take over this Planet. There are just too many Zerg. They must have some other weapon of destruction that they hope will tip the balance."

The Protoss Navigator interrupted him, "Commander our second scout division has just spotted a second and separate fleet also attacking the Zerg. Our scanners are picking up some metalic signal though. unlike anything I've ever seen before."

Al'daer tried to speculate the best option of engagement or retreat.

"Commander, we've lost contact with our second scout division. . ." said the navigator.

"Then whomever they are know we're here. Get us out of here now!" said Al'daer.

the Protoss flagship quickly made their retreat with the rest of the force following suit, exiting the Rashalga orbit and making course for Plutonis, where the rest of Avarii's Fleet was positioned.

OOC: Okay, sorry Avery, the last time I checked the planet list, Rashalga was surrounded by Empire of Thunder territory. I missed the post that said that the lists were updated to give balance. Sorry that I accused you of the "impossible" feat.

Also, I will reveal that Rashalga is a cyclical planet, where it goes from tropical temperatures to hyperarctic temperatures. The Myceneans have adapted to the temperature ranges, producing an advantage when the planet enters its arctic period.

IC: "Captain, our forward HAAC pilots have reported seeing strange vessels appear and be swarmed by the Zerg. Our forces attempted to save them but the massive amounts of enemies wiped them out. We have recieved the signal that the vessels transmitted and have found the recepient. We are formalizing an apology for their losses." A crewman stated from behind the captain.

"Good, we must be neutral to other races if we are to gain trust for our return to the Delta Quadrant." The Captain replied in a tired, metallic voice.

"Sir, reports have come in that our cities have been successfully retaken, without resistance. The Zerg had not found our hidden cities and our Bioelectic Modules have been reactivated, serving our units and activating our defenses. Eradicators have been deployed, the Council of War has given them orders to use VX-20 missiles upon the Zerg. Our advance has been ordered to halt and hold defense against further Zerg attacks. The lines will be held at all costs." Another crewman stated.

"Good! Helmsman, full stop!" The Captain ordered, standing up.

"Full stop, aye!" The helmsman replied.

"Sir, transmission to the unidentified race has been sent successfully." The first crewman said.

In the distance, several Eradicators ran to their targets. Their blades glistened against the snow and moonlight. They had gotten through the main lines of Zerg and struck down any Zerg that strayed behind.

"Garnall, I'll see you on the operating table." One Eradicator said with a dry laugh.

"Not if I see you first," another said, laughing uncontrollably.

The group of Eradicators split up and slipped into the Zerg Hive Clusters. Within minutes, the Eradicators had ordered the launch of the missiles and fought galliantly against the Zerg that occupied the Clusters, but that didn't stop the launches.

Soon, explosions and deadly gas filled the Hive Clusters, killing or poisoning everything within the surrounding area. Zerg that survived the blast found themselves suffering from neurotoxins that worked quickly to cripple and eat at their nervous system. Zerg began to fall over dead from complete nervous system shutdown.

The advancing Terran forces recieved a transmission to halt their forces and hold their ground while the VX gas dissapated. The Terran commander was told to hold for two to three hours, to be safe from the dangerous gas.

A lone dropship flew over the frigid terrain of Rashalga careful to avoid the various zerg forces streaming towards the Empire's main base in the distance. Inside was a Empire recon squad of five marines a pair of medics and a ghost.

"Hey Sarge come have a look at this. Does that look natural to you?"

The pilot a burly islander named Higgins pointed towards a run down installation entrance miles away from a sizeable zergling swarm.

"Not on your life. Let's go check it out."

"Roger that. Helios one to Alpha base,Target sighted investigating."

"Affirmative Helios one. Investigate target. Tracking your position."

The dropship descended through the blackened clouds of Rashalga. There decent was covered by a thick flurry of snow. The Dropship floated to a stop near the installation entrance and deposited it's cargo before flying off in the distance. The Sergent was the first one to land on the ground followed by the rest of his squad.

He then addressed the squad.

"Alright team listen up. Command sent us to scout out for possible forward command posts. If this installation is still operational it might suit command's need. So Don't break anything! That means you Roy!"

Roy looked up perplexed.

"Alright four by four cover formation. go go go!"

The marines converged towards the airlock which was locked tight.

"Can ya get us in Alan?"

"I think so Sarge it's a pretty simple mechanism"

Alan then proceeded to smash open the lock. Which miraculously opened the airlock.

"What is it Alan?"

"It's a Airlock sir. It's busted."

"Lucky for us we don't need it. Visors down people just in case"

And the recon squad marched into the darkened corridors of the installation.

"Apocalypse Cannons ready to fire sir."

"FIRE!!"

In the valley a mile away the ten Apocalypse cannons shook the very ground they stood as they fired there Havoc shells into the carpet of zerglings.
