Thanks people I will most likely have the next part sunday(I have had a break through).
@Silent & Moon thanks for the acting, but at least I make some changes. @Destoryer Now how do you know that is how you make a Death Knight:P? Just because he wielded a sword in life does not mean he must in death.

Well I said Sunday didn't I? I was going to post this earlier to day, but had a few lines to rewrite. As for the next part I do not know when I will have it out.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Ah finally, it is finished, and long overdue as well." Said a young man, a squire of a Paladin to be exact. He had just finished setting up his and his masters tent, and organizing everything that was within. This is one of the tasks that every squire is given when a Paladin is part of an army, and this young man has done his task with great dedication and care. The day has worn on worn on him, and squire now hoped for a few moments rest. Although rest he will not receive for he was late in completing his due and a another matter calls him away. So without even moment more to waste the squire went out the tent and into the camp, and commotion outside. The soldiers of the army were preparing the rest of the camp for the night. All around the site the men where busy setting up tents of their own to rest in, and making fires to gather around. The air was full of the smell of food as it was time for the men to eat to help regain there stamina for the next days march. So too was the air full of the sounds of the soldiers voices as they talked with each other over this and that as they ate, or waited to eat. With all that was going on though the squire did not pay much heed to it, having need now to more swiftly through the camp. Where the squire need to go was to his master who was now at the command tent where the next moves of the army are to be made. This tent sat at the center of the camp, and was surround by a makeshift wall of wagons and under guard. It was not long before the squire was coming to the makeshift wall and as he did the guards tensed. "Halt! Who goes there" called one of the guards who stood out from the rest. Before saying more the guard look over the squire. This individual looked no different than any of the other soldiers in the camp. The squire stood about six feet in height and head covered with blond hair. He was dressed in simple garments made of wool, and was not armed save for a small knife at his side, and posed no threat to the guards if a fight ensued. "This is not a place for common soldiers. State your who you are and what business you have here quickly." The guard said with a loud voice. "I am Alexander, squire to Sir Azelinus, Herald of the order." The squire said to the gaud calmly and in a clear voice, "Sir Azelinus has asked that I come here, but for what reason he did not say. If you do not believe me you could ask him yourself.". "Azelinus has informed us of a his noble squire, Alexander, was to come. But how are we to know you are this squire?" The guard said. With that Alexander moved his and to the pouch on his belt, and from it pulled out a small medallion. The medallion was made of bronze with an engraving the front of the order he belong to with writing along the edge that read "Only through seeking the light within ourselves is the path to becoming who we should be, made clear to us" ;on the back of the medallion was simply the name Alexander, and his masters coat of arms. These medallions are given to the squires of the order to be worn and show to all who they are. The guard took a few seconds to look over the medallion before speaking, "That is good enough, you may pass. LET HIM PASS!". Alexander put the Medallion back into in his pouch and walked into the tent. Inside the tent the mood was tense as the commanders of the small army argued amongst themselves. Their force was still two days march from the objective, and were too few in number to grab victory in a straight fight. Unless fortune were to shine on them death will be the recompense for their work. The importances of this discussion did not keep the appearance of a guest from ending it as everyone in the tent turned to face Alexander. "Come here Alexander" Said Sir. Azeliuns, a gray haired man with a notable regal look about him who sat across from the entrance of the tent "We seem to be having a disagreement on troop movement here, and we could use one more opinion on the matter." Alexander walked up to the table in the middle of the tent that the three surrounded. To Alexander's left was Captain of the city guard and militia, Bernar, and to Alexander's right was a man only know to him as the commander of the small group of archers whom have recently join their force. One thing that caught Alexander's attention above all else about this archer was the hilt at his side, it was the unmistakable hilt of an elven sword. Seeing Alexander's interest in the new member of the group Azelinus deiced it would be wise to speak up quickly "Our friend here is Crimthann, a highly regarded Ranger of these wilds, he has offered his, and his mens help as guides and scouts for our forces." Azelinus voice pulled Alexanders attention back "s-so....what do you want my opinion on now." Said Alexander embarrassed at giving too much attention to Crimthann, "Well, Alexander, you know that the undead have no need of rest allowing them to move night and day." Azelinus began in his lecturing tone "These advantages meant we had no hope in reaching our destination before the undead, but thanks to Chrmthann's scouts we know that there might be some hope. The Vampires have refused to push any deeper into our lands until they have hunted, which will take time." "This does not sound like a problem to me sir, but a blessing?" said Alexander with an ignorance that brought a grin to Crimthann's face, "Alexander the problem is only their main force, the bulk of which is lead by Vampires, is slowed." Azelinus continued to lecture "Rarely do the dark armies march without necromancers to watch the vampires, and these individuals can still make it to the town with a small force before us and raise the fallen.", Alexander could only nod in agreement to his masters words as he thought on there meaning. "Azelinus, your squire is clueless, and I begin to wonder why you have him waste our time!" said Bernar, "If we have any chance of defeating these undead we must keep our forces together! dividing them would only give use a smaller force wasting manpower in a fool's march. We must drive forward to meet the undead force while they are scattered." "That is your opinion Bernar just as Crimthann wants to send the force and make sure our enemy does not surprise us with new forces." said Azeliuns, irritated at the sudden outburst "My mind is yet to be made up, and that is why Alexander is here! You also forget that I have given him the responsibilities of a full Paladin and he is to be respected as one are we clear!" "Yes, Azelinus you are clear." Said Benar, even him knowing not to continue to speak his mind. With Benar quiet Azelinus once more turned to Alexander "Well Alexander, I think you should speak your mind on the matter quickly." Azelinus said. Alexander began nervously "Well our mission from the order is to make sure the dead can rest in peace, and the the people still living are assisted; not to necessarily defeat the already risen dead right? I think due to this we need to send an advanced force lead by a Paladin, twenty foot-soldiers and how many rangers are able to help. This would hopefully be enough to deal with any forces in the town before they complete their grim task, and with luck move out before the main undead force arrives. This would cut off a large number of potential soldiers before they are a threat, adding to our ability to obtain victory if we face the main force". "Hopefully? Ha Alexander you do not hope for victory, you plan for it." Responded Azelinus "You are going to need at least thirty-five foot-soldiers, the fifteen rangers that Crimthann has already said where ready to go, and of course two other Paladins of your choosing." "Of my choosing?" asked Alexander confused. "Yes, Alexander." Azelinus Said still in his lecturing voice, "The Paladin that leads the force chooses those he has command over.". Benar, now visible enraged over the development, could not hold his tongue any more "WHAT! You would trust the live of my man in the hands of this... this." before finishing the next word Benar was cut off by Azelinus "You not only insult Alexander now, but me and the order itself! A Paladin can easily lead a force of five thousands man, but you think one incapable of leading fifty!" Azelinus once more quieted Benar, who now looked the odd combination of rage and shame. "Alexander will not be leading alone." Said Crimthann breaking the silence, and then looking at Alexander "Choose your Paladins quickly I do not want to have to leave you." With that Crimthann left the tent to ready the force. Alxeander was still surprised at the task Azelinus has put before him, as well as the amount of faith his master seems to have in him. Still he managed to keep his composure while still in front of his master, and Benar. "I will do my best to fulfill this task you have given me." Alexander said "Well if that is the case I have no concern that the task will be fulfilled in a a manner befitting the honor of the order. Now hurry and get ready you are to leave as soon as you are able." Azelinus said to his young squire. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note this section of the story takes place before Lily's part. I did think about having them go in a different oder but this seemed like the best way. Edit Rewrite 1:Standard fixes, picked some grammar errors, and flow issues. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well I still want to work on the next part of the story a bit more might have it up in a day or two , but that does not mean I have nothing of you guys. Since magic is important to the story I think I will explain this force somewhat to you guys so here is some Lore. Let me know what you think and any suggestion you can make. This is still a work in progress. Now enjoy while I try to get the story written out
.Magic In the world there are many views on the strange force that has come to be simple know as "magic". Magic is the force that is used to make and upkeep everything, it is a power that can control the very fabric of realty and allow people to toy with time and space like a child would blocks. The main limitation lies with the amount of "Magical energy" one can gather of what the person mind can imagine and conceive. There are a few types of magic First is called natural Magic which is used by Mages, Wizards, and sorcerers. This form fall under three main schools. The first is that of the physical world and is shown most often symbolized by fire(earthly energy and knowledge). This Magic is enhanced by ones knowledge of the world around them. The more they know of the world around the more they can control it. Runic and alchemy have strong connection to this magic. The next is Magic of creation also know as high magic and is symbolized by lighting(heavenly energy and knowledge). People who use this magic chooses to not simple control the world around them, but make it in their image. Creativity and imagination are key since people who use this magic often toy with reality and for more than simple illusion like some people think. The limits of what a person can do seems mostly link to what they can think up and the more imaginative they are often means the more powerful they are. The last is the oddest since it lacks any dynamic energy and is simple the space between the other two this form can be called Chaos, Void, or Deep magic and is symbolized by either an object of cold like ice or simply nothing at all. This form is the hardest to understand and as such little is known about it other than it guides the other two-forms. Light, and Dark are considered by the many to be separate from the magic used by Mages Wizards, and sorcerers, but some(mostly Mages) think they are just simple forms of Magic that have been influenced by the extreme emotion of the Human(or similar creature) mind and as such hold now real sense of "good" or "evil"(Is a person who is dishonest with kindness more good then a person honest with hate?). Those who do believe in light and dark do not like to call their powers "magic" since they believe this is a term give a lesser power which is a tool and as such an insult(Magic is a tool of creation and light and dark sides of divinity). Light magic is an interesting subject, it I based off what are considered benign emotions such as joy or love. A person who is unable to posses these feeling are considered out of "grace" with the light and cannot use the its power. Dark magic is based of emotion such fear and angry and by embracing this path you enter into a cycle that feeds its self and there for a dangerous form of magic to use at all even f the rewards are great. Edit:Okay posted this late and missed the fact that I did not post the whole thing here is the rest. Sorry about that.

Okay the next part of the story is going up hope you guys enjoy
. I will see when I can get the next part to you, but it appears my muse have left me(for dead on the side of the road after stealing my stuff ). If the next part takes too long I may have more lore and if there is enough interest in the lore I may have a topic another topic for it where people can help to develop it as well .P.S. any lurkers out there who have something to say? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With a bow to his master Alexander left the command tent and returned to his and Azelinus' personal tent. The first thing Alexander did was write and send a message to the two Paladins he wanted to accompany, him, and with this task finished Alexander decided to take some time to sit and rest before getting himself ready. He looked around the tent which he had set up. The place began to feel as home for Alexander after spending so many nights in it, and every thing being in its usually place made it feel all the more familiar. There where two containers that held His and Azelinus' equipment, and personal belonging, his and Azelinus bedrolls yet to be set out, and a small book case that Azelinus insisted on bringing to hold what books he desired to read. Alexander was not as much of a reader as Azelinus was , but he did enjoy reading one of his masters books from time to time. After a short while Alexander decided it was time to get ready and gather his arms and armor and equip himself. Now Alexander's equipment was not that of shimmering plate and sharp blade as one might see when thinking of Paladins, but rusty chain-mail and mace. The chain-mail found discarded on the road, his helm from an unfortunate brigand ran thru by one of the city guard, the mace and shield both together on a dead solider. The odd assortment of equipment is due to the need of most squires having to find their own armament, and even through Azelinus offered to given him better Alexander refused on the grounds that he wanted no advantage over the other squires. Still Alexander was quite pleased with the equipment, it was his own and has helped him much in his duties. After equipping himself Alexander was soon off into the camp. Darkness had already fallen over the camp by now. The sounds of music and laughter could be heard coming from the soldiers. Many times have Alexander loved to go amongst them and share in their fun, but tonight he had no time for old stories, or good jokes. Not wanting to be late Alexander ignored the men in the camp and moved as quickly as possible to the site at the edge of camp where his and Crimthann's force were preparing for their march. Coming close to the area Alexander could already tell the men were ready to move at any moment, only waiting for the other two Paladins to finish preparing. Moving quickly into the area Alexander almost missed a spectacular sight; on the edge of the area Crimthann was practicing has sword abilities with blades drawn, and mind focused on his task. Crimthann's style was like nothing Alexander has ever seen, he moved as if dancing with a speed and grace beyond anything Alexander thought possible, his blades cut through the air so fast that only silver flashes of moonlight could be seen glinting off the almost unseen blades. As extraordinary as this display of skill was Crimthann soon reveled something even greater. As the blades slowed in the end Alexander caught sight of what martial they were made of. Crimthann's elven blades were made of pure Mithril! How could a simple ranger have such valuable weapons. The weapons being of such high value that they where seen as the most high of prized gifts the Eleven high kings of old could give their most loyal and able generals. "Fine weapons, nothing better when you hunt the game that I hunt." Said Crimthann placing the blades back into their sheathes "We will leave soon as your Paladins arrive. Hopefully we will not be waiting long.". With that Crimthann walked to where the rest of the men were with Alexander being left to wait for the Paladins. Now waiting on the Paladins Alexander had some more time to once more rest. With this time he decided to sit and read a letter Lily had given him before he left. Alexander pulled out the letter, already worn from being read numerous time, and began to read. "Dear Alexander I hope you are well, and have not foolishly gotten yourself killed. I would hate to have to replace you. Of course there is little to worry about when you are at the side of one of the "champions of the Order". If nothing else he will keep you safe. Still I think you put too much faith in your master. I do hope you are well and that you have sometime to yourself; although I know you are most likely being work to exhaustion while I am most likely just sitting around at home. I would like you to know that I do think of you Alexander, you are my knight (even if the order has yet to see you as one). You are always there for me and are the only person I can be open with. When I feel the darkness of my life closing in you are there to keep it at bay like a small light protecting me from the horrors that are held within. Make sure you retune to me quickly and safely, and know that I love you. Love lily P.S. Also I know that you must go, and I know that your duty to the order is more important then your duty to me. I just wish you where home more, or at least know for certain that you are safe." As he read the words of the letter Alexander smiled "I love you too Lily." he said softly to himself " And my duty to the order is not more important to me than you are." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit rewrite 1:Same as before, fix some issues with the writing and worked on trying to get the flow of the story better. Also flush the characters out better. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks to everyone for reading! Also Silent & Tears the next part you guys have yet to see so hope to see you both here .

@Tears Yes, I thought the public deserved to know I will not hide it anymore
. As for Vampires all I have to say is just wait, it is not like I can just throw them in a story like ninjas just know you will get your vampires in time;).@Destroyer Yeah it gives you more connection t the characters so if something happened to one of the them.... . Also since i have never been in a relationship m self this is going to be "fun".Also what about the little magic lore I had. What do you guys think?

Yeah I know it seems a bit odd, but this might be helpful later. Also if there is anything you want to know just ask(might have a few more but would like to know if there is anything people would like to know fists). I still think the Lore could have been written better, but maybe that is just me.
